All generations welcome! Saturday May 1, 1:00-3:00PM View Poster

The Pittsburgh Youth Council for Change and the Pittsburgh Human Rights City Alliance have been working together to host a candidate forum to provide space for discussions of how today’s candidate races impact the lives of young people and future generations. Thinking about future generations can help center human rights and well-being in our policy debates--that is why we are helping host a candidate forum that brings youth concerns to candidates in the 2021 primary! We will hear from candidates running in Pittsburgh and Southwestern PA, including candidates running for Pittsburgh mayor, Pittsburgh city council, Allegheny county council, Pittsburgh Public Schools school board, and more. Candidates will be responding to questions generated by youth as a way to allow younger members of our community more participation in the electoral process. Hear from mayoral candidate, Ed Gainey, School Board candidates Sala Udin, Khamil Scantling, and Jaimie Piotrowski, City & County Council candidates Bethani Cameron, Connor Mulvaney and Stephen Singer.
